Happy Anniversary Teddy

It was 40 years ago last night that Teddy made his big splash at Chappaquiddick and wandered around for the rest of the night in a drunken stupor while Mary Jo Kopechne clung to life in an air pocket in the overturned, submerged automobile. Some reports say that she finally suffocated in the morning about an hour before her body was found.

Imagine how different the nation would be today without 40 years of Teddy in the Senate. What if Massachusetts had real laws and treated all criminals equally, without regard to wealth and power?
