Levi's come out of the closet (my closet)

As a dedicated, alleged, suspected right-wing extremist, I have a long list of websites and blogs that I visit every day to get my news and inspiration. Their common theme is taking our country back from the marxist thugs and corrupt politicians currently in power, most of them advocate doing so by peaceful means.

Sometimes they mention other news items, which was how I found this reference to Levi's. Now, I've been wearing blue jeans since I was a kid in the 1950s. Back then we called them dungarees. I've worn jeans in Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, England and Ireland. I've worn jeans in 2/3 of the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. As Johnny Cash would have said: "I've worn jeans everywhere, man!"

As an adopted Texan, I find that there's no place that I go that a clean pair of jeans and a nice shirt is not acceptable attire. If it takes more than that, I don't go there. I do have a suit in the back of the closet for emergencies, - like if they need to bury me.

I've always favored Wranglers or Walmart jeans for some reason. Maybe because I wore Wranglers when I was a kid, and now that I'm older, my thrifty Scottish blood favors the Walmart prices. I probably have owned some Levi's along the line though.

After reading this article, (click on my title above to read it), I'm going to weed through my closet and if I find any Levi's, they're going in the trash; and my wife is getting instructions to never bring any Levi's home, not even if they're on sale AND she has a coupon.
